Olivia Adams

Olivia is a proud descendant of the Wulli Wulli people of Central Queensland. Completing tertiary studies in dance, Olivia graduated from ACPA (Aboriginal Centre of Performing Arts) with a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma (Dance) and QUT (Queensland University of Technology) with a BFA (Dance).

As a freelance artist, she has worked with Karul Projects, Joel Bray Dance, Polytoxic, DigiYouth Arts, and BlakDance as an associate artist.

Olivia joined the Rekindling team in 2021 as Trainee Youth Program Leader.

Bio

Olivia is a proud descendant of the Wulli Wulli people of Central Queensland.

Olivia started dancing at a young age before participating in the Rekindling program in 2014 and 2015. She then went on to gain her Diploma and Advanced Diploma (Dance) from the Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts (ACPA) and her BFA (Dance) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where she graduated in 2020 as the highest achieving Indigenous student in the Creative Industries.

As a freelance artist, she has worked with Karul Projects, Joel Bray Dance, Polytoxic, DigiYouth Arts and BlakDance as an associate artist.

In 2021 Olivia joined the Rekindling team as Trainee Youth Program Leader.
