    Rubibi

    Broome is a coastal town in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. Known as Rubibi to the Yawuru Traditional Owners, Broome was once home to a burgeoning and often dangerous pearling industry, and is also known as the site of a submarine telegraph cable which ran all the way to Indonesia.
