Donna is a Nughi / Quandamooka and Mununjali / Yugambeh woman who has spent most of her life connected and belonging to Quandamooka country, her Mother’s Country and Mununjali country Father's Country.

Donna is a Nughi / Quandamooka and Mununjali / Yugambeh woman who has spent most of her life connected and belonging to Quandamooka country, her Mother’s Country and Mununjali country Father's Country.

As an Aboriginal Artist she feels she has been spiritually ‘nyuhmba’ guided from her ancestors, mother, and father in so many ways to her birthright to ‘wayma’ speak her language, to weave, and be the artist to create from her culture. She feels it is imbedded within her to be able to pass it on and teach not only to her children and family but specially to tell our stories of the past of our people and Country.
