Glenda was born on Thursday Island in the Torres Strait in far North Queensland; she is a descendant of the Dhoeybaw and Sui Baidham clan from Saibai Island.

From 1992-1994, Glenda performed with Bangarra Dance Theatre in Praying Mantis Dreaming, Ninni, and Ochres, touring nationally to Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland, and New South Wales, and internationally to Los Angeles, New York and London. Glenda has also contributed vocals to numerous Bangarra soundtracks.

Glenda was born on Thursday Island in the Torres Strait in far North Queensland; she is a descendant of the Dhoeybaw and Sui Baidham clan from Saibai Island.

Glenda graduated from NAISDA Dance College in 1991, completing her three year diploma in dance. During this time she performed and toured nationally in NAISDA productions “Kayan Walu, Djumba Woman and Reflections.

From 1992-1994, Glenda performed with Bangarra Dance Theatre in Praying Mantis Dreaming, NINNI, and Ochres, touring nationally to WA, the Northern Territory, Cairns, NSW and Internationally to Los Angeles, New York and London. Glenda has also contributed vocals to numerous Bangarra sound tracks.

Glenda has also worked with Descendance, AIDT and Naroo, and has toured in numerous productions both nationally and internationally.
