    Cape York Peninsula is a remote peninsula in the far north of Queensland - the northern-most point of the Australian mainland. Bordered by the Gulf of Carpenteria and the Coral Sea, the Peninsula is known for its fertile soil and complex ecology. Cape York Peninsula is home to over thirty Indigenous languages and many different Indigenous communities.
