Dubbo

Set on the banks of the Macquarie River, Dubbo is a regional town in central northern New South Wales. The Traditional Owners of the land are the Wiradjuri people.

Many of Bangarra's Alumni are from the Dubbo area, and several of Bangarra's works feature Wiradjuri language. Beau Dean Riley Smith's work Miyagan focusses on the Riley family an their lives on the Talbragar Reserve, just outside of Dubbo.
