Laka Bunkul (Evening Star) is a work commissioned for Bangarra Dance Theatre's inaugural Dance Clan program. Storytellers, the Munyarryun Clan, brings traditional stories and dances from North East Arnhem Land to share with Sydney audiences.

Beneath Sydney's setting sun, the harbour is transformed into the brolga plains of Dhalinybuoy, Arnhem Land. Men and women of the Munyarryun Clan draw on timeless traditions to present their inspirational dances from home, tracing the path of the Wangurri Tribe.
