In 2012, internationally acclaimed Bangarra Dance Theatre premiered Terrain, a powerful fusion of contemporary dance and storytelling commissioned by Bangarra's Artistic Director Stephen Page and choreographed by celebrated Aboriginal artist Frances Rings.

Described as a hymn to country, Terrain transports us to Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre the place of Australia's inland sea: one of the few untouched natural waterways in the world. Bangarra artists explore the innate connection of Indigenous people to country and how the landscape is a second skin. The award-winning Aboriginal artists: Composer David Page and Designer Jacob Nash join Frances Rings in creating a powerful and evocative production inspired by the timeless beauty of Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre.
