Nandhu (pronounced Naan-du) means ‘to be close’ in Wiradjuri language.

Nandhu takes you on a journey through some of our most iconic productions through interviews, articles, and behind-the-scenes video content. Learn about the extensive research processes that underpin the creative development of Bangarra’s productions, the connections to communites and the stories that have been shared.

This Nandhu experience focusses on the 2016 production Nyapanyapa, choreographed by Stephen Page and is inspired by the beautifully textured paintings of Yirrkala artist Nyapanyapa Yunupingu and the stories of Yolŋu Country.
