About
Nala means 'light within the darkness' in the Yawuru language. Set in Broome against the earthy red pindan soil and turquoise waters of Cable Beach, Tara Gower shares her grandparents’ story, about the triumph of love in a community conflicted by imposed progress.
This production features the First Nations languages Yawuru (Western Australia) and Yolngu Matha (Dhuwa) (North East Arnhem Land).
