Roo (Gurrtjambal) deals with urban men who have had their social and religious values taken away from them and they've survived, men who are victims of social dilemmas - whether it's the stolen generation, child abuse, domestic violence, or substance abuse.

In Roo (Gurrtjambal), Stephen Page develops on themes explored in his earlier choreographic works - stories of people with a foot in both modern and traditional worlds, and their journey of navigating all that lies between.

This production features the First Nations language Yolngu Matha (North East Arnhem Land).
